Happy November from your friends at Jovie Salon!

This year is slowly coming to an end, and soon 2014 will be making its arrival. It seems as though the year has flown by. Sometimes we tend to forget what we are truly thankful for between the crazy schedules and meetings.

This is the time of the year when we see our loved ones. We begin to stop and reflect on why we are thankful for the special people in our lives. We are thankful for the relationship we have with each and every one of you. We hope you enjoy the time spent with your families and loved ones. Here is what we are thankful for and our plans for Thanksgiving.

Lauren: I’m thankful for my Grandma’s mystery pudding and mystery punch at Thanksgiving. They are always … creative! I also always enjoy all 32 of my cousins and eating all kinds of sides, desserts, turkey and ham. Between all three Thanksgivings my husband and I go to, we definitely get full and have fun!

Elena: I am thankful for my husband, family and Jovie family. Also for my clients who I’ve had for awhile. This Thanksgiving I will be with my parents and two brothers and their spouses. We will watch some football and eat a lot of turkey and some yummy pies!

Nicole: I love Thanksgiving. It’s such a wonderful time for family to come together to hang out, visit and eat yummy food! It’s also a time for me to reflect and be thankful. This year I’m thankful for all the normal things plus getting the job here at Jovie and meeting my Jovie family and new clients.

Shelah: I’m thankful for aloe vera! My Thanksgiving plans involve deciding which relative’s house to crash in on. I do like Thanksgiving, it’s a good time.

Natalie: I am thankful for my friends, family, job and life itself. This Thanksgiving I will be spending time at my parents’ house and then later going to the Dallas Cowboys game.

Lynette: I am thankful for my wonderful husband, family and of course my Jovie family! This year we are combining Turkey Day by having my in-laws over at my parents house. This should be interesting!

Julie:  Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday!  I love to cook, eat, shop and be with my family and friends.  This year we will start a new tradition; we will do the 5 K Turkey Trot.  I am thankful for Celine and Jo (they are so easy to love) and for my friends and family at Jovie.  I am looking forward to adding to our Jovie Family with the opening of our McKinney site in January 2014!

Dawn: I am thankful for family, friends and everything we have. I’m also thankful for the my new spinning wheel, so I’ll be busy eating and spinning during the holiday. (Thanks for those who asked about me!)

Holiday Hours

If you need a last minute trim or color before Thanksgiving we will be open Monday – Wednesday, Nov. 25 – 27from 9 a.m. – 8 p.m. We will be closed Thursday, Nov. 28 and Friday, Nov. 29 to spend the holiday. We will resume business hours on Saturday, Nov. 30 from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Book an appointment on the 30th and recieve a door buster! The holidays are coming up and we’re booking fast. Be sure to call in early to book so you can get an appointment convenient to your schedule.
